Green dyed “jade” earrings

Green dyed “jade” with sterling silver spacers, on sterling silver headpins and earwires.

Why the quotation marks?  There are two different types of jade, nephrite and jadeite, as well as several stones that can mimic the look of jade. Even though these were called “jade” when I purchased them, I’m not sure which type of stone this actually is, so while they have the look of jade, they may or may be jade at all.
